What is Resilience?

Resilience is the capacity to prepare for, recover from and adapt in the face of stress, challenge or adversity. Capacity is how much of something you can have. You can increase your capacity and accumulate or store resilience. Greater capacity means you have more to draw from when you need it. You can think of your resilience as the amount of energy you have stored in an inner battery. It’s the amount of energy you have available.
